Pear Peeler, Corer, Slicer
Atlas Pacific Engineering Company offers the solution to your problems of peeling, coring and slicing of pears efficiently. The Atlas Pear Machine is the benchmark in the mechanical peeling of pears, with minimal skin removal to retain natural flavours and produce higher yields.
The positive pear location and air-operated clamps ensure that a large variety of pears are efficiently oriented and therefore high speed and quality production is realised.
This machine can be hand fed at 60 pears per minute or can be supplied with an automatic orienter to feed at 66 pears per minute but with no labour required.

Design
The mechanical Atlas Pacific Pear Peeler is designed to give you micro-thin peeling and higher speeds than any machine made today. As the machine is peeling and removing the stem, core and seed cell, it is also being loaded for the next operation. This unit will easily handle up to 66 pears per minute (six at a time) with one operator. The machine can be adjusted while operating for setting depth of seed cell and also for calyx trim. All machines are equipped with rotary-type peeling heads and are driven by a separate 1/4 H.P, motor to maintain a constant peeling speed. These peeling heads are unique in that they peel from the inside out, thus lifting the majority of skin blemishes from the pear. Three sizes of quick-change cups can handle practically all sizes of pears.
Operation OPERATION: Requires only a short time to change for processing any style fruit (see illustrations above). This unit processes six pears at a time, either graded or ungraded. The operator places the fruit stem end down into the self-centering cups. As the fruit tips forward while in the cup to be processed, it is gently held in position by four fingers to assure removal of core and seed cells on centre. The removal of the stem end, core, seed cell and peeling operation all occur simultaneously. At the split second the laden cups deliver and release the fruit, they return to original position for reloading and remain in a stationary position while the fruit is being processed, thus allowing the operator more than ample time to reload.
The micro-thin ribbon peeling means more fruit flavor in the can, leaving nature's concentrated fruit flavour which is right under the skin. (The thinner the peel, the more flavour.)
The efficiency of design in this machine, coupled with its minute adjustment features produces greater case yield than other machines on the market today.
